Saw this red cover on Ebay, wondering if anyone has one and what they think about it. Way cheaper than the factory one, but it's a matte finish.

I was wondering that myself...
I rolled the dice and ordered it. I had it to my door for just a bit over $300. The plastic quality feels no different than the stock one.
Its flat matte plastic. For some reason, I thought it might be shinier even though the ad clearly said Matte.
Looks "ok" for less than half the price of a GM one.

Is the factory GM one painted to match the valve covers or is it just coloured injection moulded plastic? I honestly havent seen one before.
From what I’ve seen, the red matches the valve covers perfectly.
This one doesn't match perfectly but it was to my door in a week for $320 CDN inc taxes and shipping. I couldnt justify $600 + tax for the GM one through Tubmans. If they made a silver plastic one, I definitely would have gone that route. We will see how it holds up. I do like it better than the stock black one regardless.
For $300, you can’t complain. Looks much better than stock.
