Anyone else with a Knotty fascination of Boats / Yachts ?

Interesting story researched behind this monument in Alma NB.
Myrtle Kool (Molly) - the first female Certified Sea Captain in North America.
Following a time when it was considered back luck to have a woman on board.
A Canadian Coast Guard Icebreaker is now dedicated.

OK it is not boating season but I searched all over for these pics so I am going to post them before I lose them. Again!

This boat gave me nightmares for months after I sold it. I was afraid the new owner would want to bring it back. LoL. :Biggrin: It was a beautiful boat, at least I think it was!

Sold it during COVID for a very high price. Got tired of doing the maintenance and cleaning and only having time to use it about 25 hours a year. Listed it high and unfortunately it sold. I do miss it on those hot summer mid week days here on Georgian bay. Twin supercharged , fuel injected mercury 700 hp motors. 110 mph. Loved that boat.

nice boat. not sure you'd catch me taking it to 110 though
 
Boats! Who in their right mind would throw good money into a hole in the water when you can burn it out through the tailpipe of a Corvette. I have 40+ years working at sea. Boats, not interested, especially when I retire in a few more years, maybe... Sheesh, people. 🤣🤣
