Any difference between N button and double shifter method?

Good afternoon, when shifting the C8 into Neutral while the engine is running, is there any difference between pressing the N button or pulling back both shifters (at the same time), in terms of how the transmission behaves?

Other than one being permanent I don't believe there is any other difference.
It's like in a traditional stick car between pushing in the clutch pedal and moving the stick to neutral.
