I need to start choosing my terminology better By offset, i meant the distance from the axle spindle to the backside of the Center Cap. Not offset in the traditional sense which is simply how the hub is placed in the rim, causing it to be overall recessed or pertruding from the vehicle.

Here is the measurement that matters most, for DynamicCaps to fit C7/C8. The distance from the spindle (#1) to the backside lip of the centercap (#2)

The depth of a DynamicCap is 11.8mm (0.465"), so as long as you have 11.9mm (0.469") or better in the Rear, you are good to go. The front is not problematic at all, as there is lots of space on all C7/C8's.

I didn't measure the first set or the modified set as they both fit perfectly with no issues. I have now had 3 drives on warm dry days and they performed flawlessly. They will be introduced by a friend of mine at the Kitchener Corvette Club meeting next week and I will be bringing them to show at the Niagara Corvette Club meeting next Tuesday.
