Wasn't difficult to predict that the other side would make last minute demands . And as has been said, no deal is better that a really bad deal. Regardless, this is going to hurt . Only 72 days until the US Midterms. Hopefully the crazies lose both houses. May not help immediately but may help prevent further damage down the road.

Much higher than Alberta but thankfully much lower than the last referendum in Quebec which was a squeaker. I think to a great degree the separation saber rattling in Quebec has been as much about getting preferential treatment, such as their outsized transfer payments , as it is about truly wanting Sovereignty.
