4 Post Lift advice

Ok...gonna double post this here as well to hopefully get some feedback.

Hey guys. I'm considering installing a 4 post lift in my mancave. PA has a Torin 9000 lb on sale at the moment. Would appreciate any advice you can offer. And has anyone done their own install? Thanks.

I have a Dannmar in my house garage. It is the XL, so it goes higher, and it’s wider. I use it more for storage then wrenching. Measure your ceiling height, and make sure when a car is on it, and lifted, your door railing or opener doesn’t interfere with it. With the XL, I can park my Chevy crew cab under it without pulling in my mirrors, or hitting the roof. If you have a car on it, also make sure the garage door doesn’t hit the back of the car. You need a deep garage the prevent this. I assembled it myself, pretty easy, but there are a few heavy pieces. I didn’t anchor it.
