I never bash the Corvette system I like it very much I bought American car instead of European as part of a plan to stop wasting money I'm stupid crap that comes with some of the exotics
You know the wipers on my Bentley were $300 every year
On top of that the w12 6 l motor takes 14 l of high synthetic oil I could go on and on about the stupid costume stuff I just had it considering I never drove it much
I remember my dad bought a new Mercedes 560 SL in 1988 and then he got a letter I believe it was 6 years later saying his radiator needed to be changed he didn't drive it much just around town in Vancouver and he said there's nothing wrong with the bloody thing and they said if you don't do it you won't get the stamp in the book that you're maintaining the car properly which will lower the value so he paid the $600 I believe it was back then for a new radiator if you want that stamp in your Mercedes maintenance book which does make a difference when you go to trade it or resell but he wasn't happy about it
I never thought of that considering other Bentley owners are getting new wipers every year if you don't do it it's an incomplete service on the record

You know I've changed cars 18 times the last 10 years lost my neon everyone except o which ne 9/11 that was hard to get during covid so I actually made $20,000 on that one usually I can't sellonnything even give anything away so what I did was I traded the db11 in March for a new Porsche Cayenne Coupe s I think Cayenne Sport coupe is sleeker looks better in my opinion and it comes with a V8 before 2024 all you can get was a turbo 6 so this one has the V8 which makes a big difference but after doing that the Bentley became kind of redundant because they're both long distance cruisers that hold a lot of stuff so I changed the Bentley for the new Corvette it was almost a straight trade
I should say though if costs were different and the world was governed I still like to have my db11 and Bentley in the garage but the wife and I like taking long drives in the states I took the Bentley from Vancouver to key West Florida you can't get a farther drive than that but in Seattle and Miami people didn't like people driving Bentleys I have some crap thrown at me a lot of people jump in front of the car gave me the finger and that was 2019 before covid with the attitude now in the states there's no bloody way I drive a Bentley down there hence I bought the Porsche even though it's an expensive car it just looks like another SUV going down the street but like I said I'm sad I had to get rid of my toys

I wish I could give you a Bentley to drive from Seattle to Miami and maybe you'd understand what I'm talking about I'm not insulting Americans is just people with or appear to have money or not liked and many cities
It's a strange thing when I drove the Aston db11 to Phoenix all I got was thumbs up smiles people honking didn't seem to bother anybody I'm assuming that Corvette would be the same being American made but there's something about I'm Bentley that just bothers some people life's too short
I think they were just protesting the mandatory yearly $300 wiper blade replacement cash grab on your behalf...
On another note regarding a Bentley in the states you can't exactly check in the motel 6 so you have to spend a lot more money on hotels that has security and parking lots no $100 a night like 400 that's another expense I'm going to be avoiding
