2016 Pricing?

And here is what I saw from last Thursday's invoice from a Toronto dealer on an Convertible 2016 so I figured -$5,000 for the coupe. Cheers.

If you look closely, you'll see that this not a GM invoice but rather a printout from the same Chrome Data system that I posted earlier. From what I gather, this is all that GM dealers have to work with for now. To be clear, I'm not trying to suggest that the pricing in this statement or the one I posted is wrong. It's just that we'll have to wait for GM's official price release to be positive that it is right.

That car was at the dealership already?
I can guarantee that isn't the case. The first report of any dealer receiving a 2016 Vette in any of the multiple forums I read occurred earlier today and that was a dealer in Florida. My car is now listed as "Available for Shipment" in the BG lot and GM chat stated that it should be out of the lot and on its way to rail transfer later next week.

No, car not at dealership yet, had an early july build date and expected to arrive late July according to the dealer. He had no buyer waitlist so the dealer bought one for stock.

Matt.

Hi warc1,

If its been released to the dealer reps then its pretty much official.

Chromedata does not release info to GM dealers unless they have a go ahead from GM Canada.

If the prices posted on GM Canada's website were higher then going forward it would be considered a price increase as far as a GM dealer rep is concerned. Till that time in-stock and factory order vehicles sold will be at the current price posted on GM Autobook. Factory Orders will be subject to the factory order price protection discounts in case price increases are to follow between the time of placing the order to the time when vehicle is delivered.

Thanks for the elaboration. This is the first time I've ever ordered a car without knowing what it would cost. It's been a bit nerve wracking watching the $Cdn continually drop and wondering if the full $ depreciation would show up in the new model year price. Fortunately, it hasn't with the 2016 Cdn price a full 10% lower than the 2016 US price in constant $.

Looks like the attachments did not show the base prices for the vehicles. Thanks Foxvette!

I will need to upload all the docs again. Will do that on Monday as im tied up at work right now.

In the meanwhile here is the missing info:

C7 Z06 1LZ Cpe $ 90195
C7 Z06 2LZ Cpe $ 93750
C7 Z06 3LZ Cpe $ 100060

C7 Z06 1LZ Conv $ 95095
C7 Z06 2LZ Conv $ 98650
C7 Z06 3LZ Conv $ 104960

FYI All 2016 vehicles have an extra $2000 Destination Charge. Up from $1900 for 2015's.

Good for you . I cant believe how much fun , attention and stares these cars get . Cant wait to see the pics .

Pricing is in...my build 2LZ coupe, 7M, options...$113,300.00 (engine build tacked on $5750...yikes!)

Ordered from Murray Chev in Winnipeg. Craig Pucely is my salesman, terrific guy, most honest car salesman I have ever dealt with.

Murray is my dealer as well. I've had a Z06 on order from them since May 20 and this just showed up today in the Canadian Pacific rail yard in Winnipeg.

Inside that rail car is my Z along with four other Vettes that I can see. It will still take a number of days to get this car to the transfer lot, unloaded and then have my car delivered to Murray's. After a year of trying to get a new Vette, these end days are killer.

Congrats.

Mine is being made the week of August 24th, this wait is killing me.I would think the delivery to BC is not a fast thing :(

Hey Ronster, can you share the price breakdown? My TPW is next week and I want to see if the prices have been bumped in the last few weeks. Thanks !

I just got an invoice from my dealer for my car which is just about to be delivered. It had no breakdown, but the total matched the pricing put up by Ojamali for my build. You should not expect a change in your price since 1) your price was locked when your build went to 2000, and 2) I am not aware of any $Cdn price increase from the introductory model year price. That being said, with the $Cdn still plunging, I would not be surprised by a price increase in the near term. For those considering a purchase, I would act now.
