I did mine at 36k. valves looked great until we pulled the springs off..then we could see the wobble in all the intake valves.

Yes. Just take the cost of fixing the heads into account when your looking. I got my Z06 last summer, three days later I had it in the shop getting the heads fixed. The peace of mind alone is worth it.
Try 34,000 kms and I couldn’t deal with that lingering “will today be the day” in the back of my head.
Pulled springs and checked and I had 3 valves over .008 which is considered excessive.
I wouldn’t chance it.

What year is your car? I heard the issue is not consistent with 2006 ZO6's but is prevalent with newer models.
2007, but it doesn't matter. If its an LS7, it has the issue. No year is exempt.......
