[Paul 06 vette]

Hello everyone,

My name is Paul and i am from Saint John N.B. I bought my first corvette on Friday and couldn't be happier. It is a 06 convertible. I have a 83 mustang 5.0 liter and a 2004 mustang convertible with a 4.6 liter. They are no comparison to the vette. Not only did i get a excellent car, i got to meet a couple of real good guys and took my first plane ride. I flew to Hamilton Ontario, first time flying and Collin and his brother Terry from Cambridge Ontario picked me up, I purchased the car from Terry. They showed me the car, took me to the hotel and then took me out to dinner. I was hesitant at first to go such a long way away from home to see a car, but it was well worth it. I also was driven around in a super nice 2011 corvette and was introduced to this site. Just wanted to send out a big Thanks to Collin and his brother Terry, both super nice guys. Thanks

Welcome Paul.... too bad about having to be shown around by Collin, but you did get yourself one fine car. Terry's 06 has been very well looked after. Looks good and I think you will find it a little nicer ride than the mustangs.

We enjoyed your visit and the smile on your face was priceless when you first saw Terry's '06 ..

The visit to the registration office was a little tense for a minute but they finally figured out what should happen and we/you got thru that visit just fine.

Terry and I were very glad to help and show you a little of the fine hospitality I always find down your way on the east coast. It was a pleasure meeting you and helping you out up here. Also glad to hear that the drive home was uneventful and enjoyed.....

BTW you'll find the same hospitality and kindness here on Canadian Corvette Forums and there are many here who can help with questions, mods and issues you may come across in your travels.

You've picked a great car Paul -- Corvettes are quite special and rare......don't forget to "save the wave" on your travels.
