1st to 2nd shift bog

It should be. 🤷‍♂️After I typed that I started wondering if it's time to get the fluid replaced. It's almost 3 years. However it's nowhere near 72,000 kms.
the mode you are in and throttle position can play a role, but if you can replicate the issue, then it must be real. Did the PDR capture the bog/delay? what happened with the RPMs?

Ya, I never thought of the PDR. I'll have to get the card out later and have a look. It's always in mymode unless the wife changed it. I haven't changed anything on mymode for months and months.

FWIW, the newer C8 Owner Manuals (2023, as I was hoping to get one, and downloaded it) have some added transmission maintenance intervals and parts mentioned on or around page 306-307, including changing the "external canister filter" at 7,500 miles, then again at 22,500 miles with fluid if required, and then again every 22,500 miles thereafter. "Failure to do so may invalidate warranty coverage on the transmission".
I could find no such similar maintenence intervals or equipment recommendations or caveats in the 2020 OM. Just the 72,000 mile fluid change interval.
Much has changed in the 3 years since the first C8 dual clutch transmission, methinks?

Murray are you saying foot to the floor acceleration? I have had that experience a couple of times when I'm way up there in the rev's...
Ya, launch from a stop, foot to floor. 1st to second, head to windshield! LOL.
I have also had passing attempts where my foot goes to the floor and it balks and I have to back out or get hit by a semi. Not quite the same, but unerving none the less. Could be related I guess.

Could Active Fuel Management be involved?
I doubt it.

Wow, sounds terrifying! Could it be a software issue? Has thr dealer looked at it?

My car lives in the garage, not at the dealership! LOL.
I'll likely have to get it there it seems. Especially now. wasn't going to get the fluid changed right away, but I might just be forced to get it done to make sure the warranty is honoured.

You've probably already been there, done that, but there's some discussion about similar issues on both the US Corvette Forum and the Mid-engine Corvette foum. Transmission oddities.

I have not used manual , yet . Is it like other cars, that have that, use paddle shifters , only when in manual? I do not want to screw up my trans. On my Mustangs it did not seem to matter.

I would get the fluid and filter changed, you can't lose and you will eliminate one suspect from the lineup. Yes it's not cheap, and I don't know how many kms since you did it last, but if it was me I would start there.
Cheap? I need to take out a loan to cover it! LOL
The manual says change it every 3 years or 72,000 KMs. We may have 18,000 on ours! However, if there is an issue we don't want to give GM an excuse.
