Kinda interesting that a 22 year old car makes the same hp as an 05.

Overhead cams work wonders don't they.

Wasn't that engine almost the price of the car. For the price it had better have performed. I'm just amazed that they can just make the old pushrod engines make more and more power staying competitive with all the so called high tech stuff out there. I'm always amazed at the power and durability of NASCAR engines. Admittedly, they are the price of a bar of gold but they do work even with the basic old push rod design. I'll stick with the KISS system. Keep It Simple Stupid. It's worked well for me all these years.

Pushrods I've got and have had many of. Cammers I've not has so many of and want one. They're special ---- and yeah expensive.
