Suggest you hang onto the car till May then sell it. You will get more money for it then. My friend was offered 70k for a mint 2019 GS 2LT with stick by a dealer as a trade in. Based on this he could probably get 75-80K privately.
Since your car is a Stingray and not a stick I would think you...
The Canadian and US markets are flooded with c8 corvettes ( new and used).
Prices for used vettes will continue to decrease.
The exception is the ZR1.
I recently had a chance to purchase a new Z06 with an 18k discount off MSRP.
The colour and options were not what I wanted so I passed.
You lose almost all your storage space with a coupe and the top stored in the back. That’s why I bought a HTC and love it. IMO the aesthetics were much nicer too in the HTC. I love all vettes enjoy your ride.
Mine was fixed last year under warranty. I asked the dealer that fixed it if they had other HTC’s with the same issue….mine was the first they repaired.
HTC is 3 years old no issues.
Had a 78 / 03 and 06 and never scraped the front end .
Know many C8 owners with the lift, modules needed replacing / software upgrades. Hopefully GM has figured out all the glitches.
Good luck
The lift option was not a priority for me, buying a 2LT with mag ride , performance exhaust, HTC were my must have’s. I can only imagine what the repair costs would be when it breaks. I had a Macan with lift and it’s a very expensive repair when it broke.
The grand sport (wide body) is the way to go IMO.
2LT as a minimum for trim level.
2016 -2019.
For resale value, the 2019 with a stick will command the most dollars.
$6000 for an exhaust plus labor and a good chance you cannot get rid of the check engine light.
I will pass and “live” with my stock hi performance exhaust. It sounds great to me.
