Another nice day in SO.. so I decided to take er out for a 150k rip on the windy roads of the beaver valley, up to Thornbury and Collingwood. I forgot what a nice car it was to drive. I recommend cutting the umbilical cord 😉😂

Thanks. I’m using the corvette charger that came with it.. seems to work pretty slick plugging it into the port in the frunk and leaving it on the first latch to keep it open a bit 👍

I thought about it but there's still lots of sand and gravel on the roads up here in the snow belt. Speaking of umbilical cords.. who leaves their C8 plugged in to the corvette charger 24/7 vs once a month (or so)? I know with most new cars there's quite a draw on the battery when it's just...

Thanks guys. I’m pretty disheartened by this purchase so far. The excitement of buying this car was overshadowed initially, when the dealer wouldn’t deliver it (after the deal was completed and payment received) due to the DRL software recall. So there it sat until GM designed a fix. And now...

No I will not be tracking it. One would hope.. with all the problems they’ve had.. there would be some other improvements/upgrades in there as well? Or maybe not.

Well, after all the rumours about these transmissions, it looks like my luck has run out too. Car only has 2500km and is driving great, but keeps throwing a code about a shift fork un-commanded movement or not in correct position. GM says a transmission change is required. Car was broken in and...

There is a remedy I believe it is an update. To fix the update 😂

There is a recall out N242435630 for the serial data gateway module.. it can drain the battery. I think that’s what Murray is referring to above.

I think this might be a HTC thing.. I went shopping the other day and returned home with warm beer and slightly cooked chicken wings. Fortunately, I had a cooler and a smoker handy! I think next time ill try a brisket and go for a longer drive :Hurray:
