I do find the whine a little annoying, I daily the car in Z mode with track engine/shift , the whine noise also appears most of the time when I decelerate to a full stop.

Not blemishes but my car had a bunch of swirl marks on the hood when taking delivery, maybe the sunny day made them extra visible.
