Back then, it was whatever Chevy got, Pontiac got the same, different badge. Same as Ford/Mercury, and Chrysler/Plymouth.

More about what the first GM mid engine may have been but the corvsir may have had more production years than the fiero did too. It did have 2 generations - the fiero almost did but its 2nd gen was a concept car only I think. No biggee but getting my head straight for what I thought nay be considered to be the first GM made mid engine that we see both of at a few car shows still … I’ll leave it at this though … no biggee
