I just had to repair the one on my C5 Vert, wife didn't fully engage the top
locks and it popped the plastic pegs that hold the assembly to the backer board.
If it is the same as the C5 there are 8 plastic pegs holding it to a masonite backer board
that is installed in the middle of the visor. I had to snap the rest of the pegs off (pulled with
force). Once the assembly was removed from visor I disconnected lights , removed mirror
which is held in by two clamps at top and then drilled holes where pegs were. Reconnected
lights, installed mirror, then using tiny button head screws screwed through front into masonite
backer. Worked fine. I used black screws to match black plastic assembly.
Before you try this you might Google it and see what others say, but it is a common issue.
I think the dealer would tell you you have to replace visor.
