Hello all:
Now that I have taken the convertible out of storage, I wanted to check people's views on tyres. My tyres are dated, I'm afraid to say 2011 !, Yes, I know that's a long time, but when you are only doin about 500km per year in the car, who checks the age of the tyres. They still look fine to me, but it is 13 years! So time to swap out. The 1995 C4 had the Goodyear GS-C EMT (run flats) F: 255/45 R17 and R: 285/40 R17. Naturally, like everything that applies to a car from 1995, those Goodyears are not made anymore. So, my question to all you C4 owners is, what can you suggest for new tyres? Goodyear offers the F1 Supercar (what that means) but I can not get them in R17, only R18. I've web browsed both Bridgestone, their Driveguard run flats, and the Michelin Pilot sport.
All thoughts are welcomed and thank you. Cheers
