CCF is happy to announce moarr and better Media integration. Media Albums and post attachments have always been a bit disconnected. With our recent uplift we can now put an end to this obstacle and spend more time browsing media instead of reading words. Effective immediately a majority of our forums will be synchronized with our Media Gallery. This means you can simply browse through every image or video attached to a post in the relevant forum directly via our Media Page as if it were an album. Every image that you attach to a post will be browsable via the media gallery and opening an image will show you all comments added via our Media section. New Categories for images split by forum can be found under heading CCF Attachments...
Hot on the heels of our first HYT thread, allow us to introduce Question Threads. Unlike regular forum threads question threads bring in several new features. 1. The question post will always be stickied on top of the thread 2. Users will be able to up and downvote answers 3. The post can by sorted by most number of votes 4. The thread owner can mark any answer as the solution 5. Solution posts will be stickied on top together with the question These types of threads are designed to help the next soul that is looking for an answer.
Article Threads Our first of many HYT (Have You Tried) threads that will hopefully explain new and old CCF timers how to navigate and utilize some of CCF's unique and new features. First up are article threads. Article threads are a special type of thread that anyone can compose in forums where this thread type is enabled (which is most of them at this stage). These threads are very much suited to more blog like posts (greater length, formatting and image content payloads). In addition article threads: 1.
