Woodward Dream Cruise 2014

Hope you folks have a really great time. With luck someone will share some photos with the rest of us. It is supposed to warm up with some sun for the weekend.

Travel safe, enjoy.

On Woodward, between 11 and 12 mile roads is a Cemetary on the west side of the street. Somewhere along there on the east side was a hobby shop. We were parked along there on the Friday night. The owner said that he would keep his parking lot closed until we got there in the morning and that we could park our cars there. He didn't figure he would be getting any drive in business that day anyway. He was right and was a nice guy too. Some of us bought some car models while there. Parts of Detroit are ROUGH!! I wouldn't go south of 11 Mile and certainly never below 8 Mile. Check out the restaurants before sitting down. Some are pretty dirty. Can't remember the name of one that we went into but it was a quick exit. If you want to see a never ending line of cars go by, then that's the place. In '98 GM had a block long display and others had similar displays. It is definitely one of a kind.
