I'd have figureg they'd have done the z06 style screw on caps with a shale cap but can't confirm it either... so I guess I havne't answered the question

The pictures confirmed what the nuts are like also.
On the Corvette Forum in the states one owner went to his 03 AE
and checked.They were chrome
When I get home from Fla, I will sell the chrome thin spokes, as I do not need both.

I would have thought like TGstring that they would have had a shale cap over the nut. I did not realize they were chrome. Good to know!
