Replaced the water pump today car seemed fine but after stopping I could hear bubbling(boiling water) in the tank......?..

May have been air locked... Did you bleed the air out when you refilled?

it will take a few cycles of heating up and cooling to be void of all gas in the system.
just keep adding the coolant to the overflow

LT1 has a reverse flow cooling system to direct coolant to the cylinder heads first to support the higher compression of the LT1.
There is a “burping” procedure to follow to get the air out.
