Saw this on one of the FB pages, commission must be sweet, and they will likely sell for those who do not want to wait for years

robbery is when you don't have a choice. This is just free market. Canadian Z06s are going for $100,000 on top of out the door price (MSRP+ Lux Tax+ Sales tax).
So true ... but when they know they have something good that people are salivating over .... they know how to manipulate that " free market "

Kinda like the current real estate market ;)

Some call that free market supply and demand pricing.
I call it robbery.
Market value has always been, and will always be, the price a willing buyer and a willing seller agree on.

Or should the guberment step in and regulate. Especially if it is a robbery.

If you are an AB resident this car is available with an almost CAN$50k markup, better than the US markups.

Hate to break it to most of you but government doesn't regulate what cars or most other things are sold at. I don't agree on the Luxury tax and if I don't want to pay it I don't buy a car that's over $100k or more. The people that are looking at cars that price range if they want the car a little bit more tax ain't going to make or break that purchase and in that price range for most people it's a non issue. If it's an issue for you a $100k+ car is probably not a smart purchase at this time with financial things the way they are.

That’s exactly what they did with the Lux tax, they regulated the prices up.
Lol but no. The luxury tax is social engineering designed to change spending habits and provide additional tax revenues with minimal opposition from the masses. Most voters (to their peril) don’t give a rat’s behind about a tax charged to a “rich guy”. Hence the reason it is called a “luxury“ tax.
