Trickle charger - Difference in 2024 MY?

Greetings fellow members. I was wondering if there is a difference in the trickle chargers for different model years on C8? I can’t remember exactly but I believe I read somewhere that some trickle chargers don’t work with 2024 and later model years. I was looking at this one 85132786 - General Motors Charger | GM Parts Depot, Ottawa Ontario (https://www.tubmangmpartsdepot.ca/p/105871357/84928267.html), but it says it’s not compatible with my vehicle. Any leads or input?

I have a 2024 and ordered the factory GM charger, and it works great. It's not the fastest charger, definitely more trickle orientated, but It will charge an almost dead battery overnight to full charge, no problem. Hope that helps.

Just wanted to provide an update. Battery tender ordered - Friday Sept 5.
Delivered - Monday, September 8.
Tried it out today. Works great. Apparently battery needed to be topped up, even after daily driving every single day.

If you put it on immediately after you got home then there is no way it needs topping up. Now, a tender may go into charge mode briefly but not for any length of time. Your car's charging system is better than the tender. The longer a car sits in the off position the more parasitic drain there is but it should not be that much to require a "top up".
