Bought a new TV for myself.
Got it late yesterday.
I'm not going to hang it for a few days, but I noticed the box was damaged.
Didn't look too bad, but I thought I'd better inspect the TV JIC.
Sure enough the screen was damaged. No display.
Open a return to Amazon, but they want me to pay shipping! WTF? They damaged it!
So I open a chat with an agent and to make a long story short he offered to replace the TV for free if I get rid of the old one.
I'll take the damaged one to the recycling center and I get a new one tomorrow. Hopefully undamaged! lol

I ordered a UPS a couple of weeks ago. A 1350 VA APC unit. Didn’t quite cut it due to the total draw of my PC when running demanding games . It was very borderline so I thought I’d return it . Didn’t notice when I ordered that it was non returnable . Dug around on the site and found a support number and actually got someone on the third ring. Explained the situation and asked if I could exchange it for a 1500 VA and he says no because it’s not returnable. Puts me on hold and comes back in about 5 minutes and says that he is pleased to inform me that they would refund my money !
I said how do I return it then and he said keep it ! It’s now being used for my tv, router , AVR and CD player and I ordered a 1500 VA which is definitely large enough for the load . I was shocked but they must have looked at my order history, lol. I should own half the company by now…
