The 2018 Corvette Is Getting a DOHC V-8—Is It for the Mid-Engined ‘Vette?

Good read. It'll be interesting to see if the mid engine Corvette actually materializes. I would assume with a mid engine design, they don't have to keep the engine as low so that is why they could go DOHC. I wonder if the new engine would make its way to trucks and other vehicles where the height of the motor doesn't matter.
