What color are your wheels? Thanks.
Is that the same Tim who ran the Kal Tire in Tecumseh, ON? If so great guy who had an annual "Show and Shine" show at his shop. Great service as well. If it's him say "Hi" from Peter with 1928 Closed Cab Pick UP street rod.
You know it might be. He said he lived in Leamington at one point...Is that the same Tim who ran the Kal Tire in Tecumseh, ON? If so great guy who had an annual "Show and Shine" show at his shop. Great service as well. If it's him say "Hi" from Peter with 1928 Closed Cab Pick UP street rod.
Tell Tim the shop has never been the same since he left. No trust there any more, damaged one of my Z06 wheels on my C5 when repairing flat tire and took me 6 months to recover wheel repairs of $300.00. Would never have happened with Tim running the show. Also sold me tires for my V-6 Mustang stick which had such low friction I could spin the tires on wet pavement in second gear. Really dangerous 'cos could not stop either. Refused to replace them even though they were brand new.You know it might be. He said he lived in Leamington at one point...
I don't mean to be slow, but what are you thanking them for...What did they do? Awesome Ride by the way..
I don't think so. When I went on a Route 66 trip, with 34 Pace cars organized by the Corvette Pace Car Registry from Joplin, Missouri to Tucumcari, New Mexico, there was a 2007 Pace Car from Toronto. Maybe it was him that you saw. Cars are identical.I flipped Tim an email link to this thread lol...
Where you in Burlington a couple of years ago? I have a pic of your ride...
Right now my baby has been under its car cover for 18 months, but I have been fortunate in my Corvette trips with other Corvettes all before COVID. Tail of the Dragon in Tennessee and Route 66 Chicago to St Louis with our Windsor Corvette Club, but the 34 Pace cars racing down the highway as a caravan three years ago was truly the best. Sure got everyone's attention plus major photo ops. Here's what they looked like at a rest stop. Some of you may have experienced similar trips like caravanning to the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green. One other event with lots of hoopla is 125 Corvettes under police escort to the Detroit Grand Prix from Mattick Chevrolet in Redford, Michigan. Another similar event from Mattick to Ken Lingenfelter's collection with Ken leading the group in his 2019 ZR1.Sounds like a cool trip. With all this Covid shi t going on, all I've been to is Port Perry for some ribs...
