Hey, folks. I've been hunting around to find if any company is supplying conversion kits for my C7 HID's to LED's.
I stumbled across a link to this outfit (I know I can't post the actual link - but if you enter HeadlightExperts and add .com you'll find it. My question is....has anybody ever used their products, or even heard of them? They say they supply Phillips LED bulbs (so an assumption that any replacements needed in future would be available at retail) - and for some vehicles (Corvettes weren't specified in their list) there is a "headlight malfuntion light" that comes on, and they have a kit to resolve that. Although again the 'Vettes are not noted to need the malfuntion warning delete kit.
My potential goal for possibly looking into these is (1) I really like the LED's on my daily driver, much better road illumination, and (2) reduced power draw from LED's vs HID's. My sources tell me that HID's are really power-hungry puppies.
This system is the only possible replacement system I've been able to find. They say installation isn't complex - but that's another question I'd have as a DIY'er.
