Does anyone know if I should go turbos or supercharge? I am trying to find numbers between the 2, which would give me the best 1/4 mile numbers.

There's a reason why dragsters use Superchargers. Instant power.
Ok , I was not sure which one they used. I know that turbos give power in a more fluid way but heat becomes a problem. Also saw that turbos develop in high rpm range better. Yeah I see your point. Drags are based , for good times , on power from low rpms so as to get a good 60 feet start. thanks

Ask yourself how much time in minutes you spend going down the 1/4 mile per year? ;)

Supercharging is much easier to tune, turbos are much more

I think I erased some of your response by accident. I just want to get at the end as fast as possible. ;)

Very helpful. Good read. Lots of information. Thanks

I would think that a super charger easier less expensive as you don't have take the engine out. In my case I had a Pro Charger Stage 2 super charger installed. 725+ HP C8 Supercharger System w/Calibration (https://www.procharger.com/725hp-supercharged-c8-corvette-stageii-system/) when installed it is as if it came from the GM factory. Not cheap though.

From personal experience having done a few... Superchargers because a) better noise b) simpler maintenance/install c) instant torque. But turbos are a lot more efficient, generally make more power, no belt issues and the newer twins/hybrid ones are almost as explosive as the superchargers of yesteryear.

But I still have a weak spot for a nice SC with a 10 rib belt

I read about electric SC. They give you the same power but save on gas like turbos, so less pollution.
