What do people run on track on for wheels? stock or aftermarket?

I ran knock off ZR1 wheels from West Coast Corvette .... and dedicated race tires. Now, heard these were strong..... seen some others that don't seem to be as good.

My buddy just had an extra set of Z06 wheels for his track rims.

I just got my ZO6 but also lucked into a set of C7 ZO6 wheels with new MPSC2 ZP.
Now, I like the look so much, that I’m mulling selling my stock OE chrome wheels (street setup) for which I had just purchased brand new Firestone Indy 500s

Nice find on the C7 wheels and tires. You may want to keep your Firestones as the SC2s won’t last long and are right squirrelly on cooler roads in the spring and fall.
The SC2 grip in the summer is fantastic though.

Ahh...the MPSC2S are only for track.
I meant that I’d like a duplicate set of those C7 ZO6 wheels with street tires. Too bad the Firestones aren’t available in those sizes too
