Can someone please tell me how wide the centre coloured piece of the steering wheel is when you get the coloured stitching option ? The reason why I'm asking is bc my LT1 build is all black interior and I couldn't add that option without going for red seats which I didn't want but plan on making it yellow to go with the yellow seat belts that I added. Would of loved to have the yellow stitching as well but was not to be. ( don't know if I got the confidence to take the high lighter marker to the stitching to make it yellow ) Let me know if anyone has ever done this..

Every single steering wheel for C8 has the directional marker piece. It’s just that some are coloured and some are black same colour as wheel. It’s 3/4” wide ...

Not mine but guys are doing it all the time. He used 3/4” Avery vinyl. Here is what this guy used as a pen for his stitching

I'm not a big fan of leaving the white around the interior of the doors; I'd prefer that be wrapped as well, but each to his/her own. I'm not big on black either although the "carbon look" or more of a matt finish, is nice. So yes, overall I'm a bigger fan of the commentator than the car...BUT only because she's into cars/Corvettes...

I thought this was a Corvette Forum...

Regardless of COVID, I'll be seeing my optometrist ASAP to ensure my eyes aren't playing tricks on me.

On another note, not only does she like cars/Corvettes, but she also has a bubbly personality and likes to drink alcohol and have fun and hang out at the beach. With an emphasis on the first one as the most important factor, if only I had a 2020 C8, was 40 years younger, unattached and able to travel instead of self-isolating. Damn COVID! (sigh)

On second thought, I'd be content with just the 2020 C8.
