Spring gravel......grrrrr!

With all the talk here recently about getting the vettes out for the first drive of the year, doesn't it kill ya to be kicking up all the fine gravel that has piled up during the winter? Anybody waiting til they clean the streets or do we put MUD flaps on these beautiful cars??

I here you! As much as we've had a mild winter(keep'em coming), and the weather lately is good and supposed to be in the double digits this week. I just can't bring myself to drive my Z06 just yet. If we get a couple good rains then I might consider it.

The first thing I did when I bought my 08 new was to have a clear bra and lower body covered .It was the best investment I think I've ever made .four years and no discoloration and it doesn't show unless you really look.

I'm finding here in Toronto and throughout the GTA although the streets have been clear of salt and gravel pretty much, there are constant blowing dust winds all over the place. One look at the plethora of cranes throughout the city and you'll understand it's because of all the construction. There must be 20 condos going up currently. There's always a thin layer of dirt/dust after each ride. Sometimes even on the inside when I drive with the top off. Grrrrrrr!
