hey does anyone have any experience with buying/ installing speed engineering headers on there C5? or have and opinion on them. $399 american with x-pipe, that's a substantial difference between that and some kooks. wondering about fit and any modifications that may have had to be done.

Never heard of Speed Engineering headers, however, that is CHEAP compared the usual rate so I can understand why you are asking. Are they stainless steel? I too would like to hear if anyone has experience with them.

They are 304 stainless, made in america supposibly. A gentleman I work with is using them on a truck that he replace the exhaust on. He had made the suggestion about using these, but to be honest, hes the first person I've heard talk of this brand, and I'm assuming the fit and install wont be to smooth.
They look good on the website. They look better than the "speedracingturbo" c5 headers on amazon.ca (also cheap, $300 for headers, $300 for off road X).
