I prepped, polished, vacuumed, had the oil changes, checked tires for correct pressure, disconnected the battery and then put on the black cover.
Not the only one as many pictures are showing up with the hibernation covers in place.
Its only been two weeks and now I thought of a couple of over night cruises for next year. One will be a weekend trip and the other will be a week trip. The wheels are turning and the snow hasn't fallen yet.
Maybe some pictures of our cars under wraps to help us remember the great cruises we had this year and dream of the cruises for next season.

I just can't show a picture at the moment of the car under wraps. I can tell you that this picture taken by our AllFlash gets me thinking summer.

Mine was put away in my heated man cave last weekend.... washed and drove up on 2 inch thick styrofoam insulation ramps for tire pads (works great).... Battery tender on, Stabil added to gas. February will be her next wax... has become a ritual since my C6 days..She will get 2 coats of Mequiars Ultimate synthetic polymer wax, then covered again until she comes out late April. Detail with Lucas Slick Mist and out for her first run..... The two coats of synthetic don't even begin to wear thin over the summer. One of the bonus's over the natural wax is the longevity of synthetic. (IMO). Driving season seems to be a long time away but it passes pretty quick..... I go out and have coffee with her every morning just to let her know that even though she is covered up, she is not forgotten..... Guess I better take a pic of her covered too.... lol...

I feel for you guys. Fortunate to have mine un-stored in my garage in AZ for the winter. It's been so hot here (mid 90's) we took a drive up to Mt Lemon the other day to get away from the heat. It was nice and cool at almost 9,000 feet and the trees were a nice change from the desert below.

Mines put away too... just have to add the fuel stab when I get home.
Darn depressing moment shutting off the lights and closing/locking the door before walking away.... :Cryin:

Derek. Are you not concerned with the H1 mating with the Z over the winter when no one is watching? You could open the door in the Spring only to find a little baby H06 sitting there.... Don't laugh.... one seemingly harmless Hummer.... that's how it all starts....

It’s true... I used to be worried about that Eric. However this Hummer mated with a new Mercedes SUV a few years ago and apparently the Hummer genes are not compatible as there was pieces of Mercedes everywhere and unfortunately the Mercedes did not survive. Hummer drove away with not a light out of place.
So far none of the Z06s are willing to lift the skirt as a Corvette knows.... there’s no such thing as a “Harmless Hummer”.

Thanks Derek.... I had to take a second look at the picture as I knew there was no bottle of Cabernet on the shelf..... Couple nice bottles of Bourbon-eh' though.... The Blanton's Reserve was a gift from a fellow I took on a fly-in fishing trip in June.. the other is a bottle of Double Oaked Woodford Reserve a buddy special ordered with my name laser etched in it from the distillery in Versailles. He lives near there and we go fishing together every year.... I haven't broke into either of them yet.... The Blanton's I will drink soon when the right occasion presents itself... The Woodford I will probably keep for a while longer...

After 16 fun enjoyable cruises. 16000kms miles of smiles. 41000kms on Car. New shoes are on, ready for more journeys. 6 hours of final detail cleaning. BabyRay is ready for hibernation. Come spring. It’ll feel like buying a new car. Most of all. It was great meeting some great people throughout year and hanging out.

Let me know when you want me to drop by for that "right occasion".
