Seasucker Bike rack on C8 HTC with racing stripes

I have 2021 C8 HTC in ELB with Black racing stripes and I got a Seasucker Talon and front fork wheel mount-it appears that the suction will not adhere to stripes( air leak at edge of stripes??) and I cannot see a flat enough surface any where else that makes any sense??? Granted I am new to Seasucker so may be missing the obvious but has anyone actually done this in the real world and if so a pic or two would be greatly appreciated-Road bike on HTC with stripes with Talon and Flight deck. Need 45" between fork and rear wheel approx.
