Scarborough new guy

Hello All,
David from Scarborough, Ontario here. My real love are the '68-'70 AMXs (please don't hate me)... but Corvettes are always good too.

Found myself a decent 1987 last Winter which I hope to have on the road later this season. My friend Terry was so impressed that he just tracked down an '87 for himself! He had always wanted a Corvette (since watching Route 66 back in the '60s). His should also be on the road soon.

Welcome to the forum Dave, congrats on the C4. Back in the day I test drove an AMX, best thing AM ever made, I remember it being a lot of fun. As has already been said, photos would be a plus.

Welcome David and congrats on the fine C4 -- she's a beauty.

No hate for other loves. I like (and have owner many) Mustangs, and have admired all muscles and pony cars.\

I ended up buying after my brother got his C6 vert. I was so impressed I had to have one too -- ended up with an '11 GS.

welcome dave. also a fan of the amx. nice 87 you have there too. i spent many years in scarborough and attended cedarbrae collegiate for a couple of years back in the 60's. doug.

Welcome David....although the AMX is kind of a cool car, I sure am glad to see you came to your senses and picked up this nice little 87. Nice cars, but I am a little prejudice when it comes to the fourth generation, as any of the members here will tell you.

I do have a '68 AMX as well. Not as "friendly" a driver as the Corvette will be... but sometimes what a guy like me needs is "rude and crude " rather than "swift sophistication" :coolgleam: .

Love the AMC stuff, my fav was the Marlin, very rare car! almost got one
at the Fall Auction in Toronto.
