Comp Cams, offers a trunnion bearing upgrade kit, part number 13702-KIT for the rocker arms in LS engines. The factory bearings do not have the needles running in a cage and as a result, under high spring pressure along with high rpm, the needles can start working their way out and into the engine. At least there is a cure. It doesn't seem to be a problem with stock engines. This was a new one on me.
