Embracing the Freedom that we have with greatest appreciation, respect and in Remembrance today … as I prepare for tomorrow’s departure to travel the road across Canada back West from a new family home in New Maryland NB.

My dad served in the Navy (interesting choice for an Alberta boy) and each year I make a point of donating to the local veteran's food bank. It seems the need is great but they get forgotten far too often.

Thank you to all those men and women in and out of uniform, that served and continue to serve. Without your sacrifice, the world we live in today would be a very different place. Respect and admiration always.
