They produced quite a few engines that are rare today......Oldsmobile W43 is another. I think only two were produced
Also quite a few Pontiac engines - 303 for Trans Am, 421 Super Duty, 336, OHC six cylinder in the FIre Bird (early 60's).

Yes, my '33 Lasalle (baby Cadillac) convert had a 353 cu. inch aluminum block V8,
with a big 85 HP. Would cruise at 70 mph, and was first introduced in 1927.
Also had a 5 position ride control feature with hydraulic shocks.

One thing I have noticed is that the earlier engines , especially the big blocks, regardless of manufacturer had considerably higher torque ratings relative to HP than modern engines. In some cases as much as 60% .
