Welcome to the forum. Maybe it's just me but I have no idea what DE stands for... Guess I won't be much help.....

Used to be short form, for the state of Delaware.
aaaahhhh.... Being Canadian, I'm not as familiar with US abbreviations. You may get a response from some some of our US members if you post the question and the year and model in the appropriate Vette generation forum section. Just a thought.
