Stupid question. Does the PDR automatically turn off once the car is turned off even if you have it set to automatically record?

It does, your recording is saved and it starts recording again the moment the car is re-started.

Yes indeed you did answer right away and much appreciated. I was referring to your semi rhetorical stupid question “ …is the world flat?” which you posted after Murray’s comment, in some contexts it is not a stupid question - ya I can follow the ball my LIEGE.
