my suggestion ... 
move engine to front & hinge the hood to the nose

lol.... Only ever had one hood come up on me many years ago. Was a buddy's 429 Cobra Jet Torino at twice the posted speed limit. I still dirty my underwear thinking about it... lol.... Trashed the hood but I stayed on the road...
Why do front engine Corvettes hoods open backwards?
So the hood can't fly open when you're blasting down the road melting asphalt ...
Maybe the frunk should open backwards could you imagine the complaints, guys already too old to load items in the back with high wing.
