Nov 2, 2015: Forum/Network issues

In case you missed the big red notice I spent 15mins trying to post. The CCF forum along with thousands of other websites are experiencing major issues today. Our main Montreal datacenter that by sheer virtue of Murphy's Law (or Sod's Law) I was planning to vacate in 3 days time so we could deploy CCF on geo-redundant hardware and thereby prevent exactly what's happening today (sigh) has experienced an almost complete network outage today due to a fiber cut by way of squirrel molestation or some other cause.

This means all traffic to this massive datacenter is being routed through the equivalent of a cocktail straw today hence CCF forums will be very 'funky' until this is addressed. Unfortunately I don't have an ETA on this but can assure you that this is a major priority for the DC folks.

I'll update this post once issues are fully resolved.

Lol... Yeah, fun times today. Partial connectivity has been restored now, you'll notice you can type out whole words now on occasion. I'll let you know when we're back on fully.

My whole work computer was slow yesterday so I just chalked it up to our crap connection. The old forum got temper mental sometimes, however, it was being hosted out of England at that point, and have since noticed that the forum hasn't had any weird issues until yesterday..... damn squirrels.
