2002 Z06
On April 9 I advertised my white M7 Z06/07 in the Canadian Corvette Forum Classifieds - almost a month without an inquiry. Not one. I won't put it on Auto Trader, Kijiji or the like because it should go to a Corvette enthusiast. Is this a function of the demand for Z06s having been fully met, or is it that nobody looks at Forum Classifieds?

I would buy it but it's out of my range, and the wrong colour. Be patient, you just have to find the right buyer. My brother in law had a modded mustang for sale for over a year before it went.

It is a funny thing but the key to the Z06 seems to be the ability of configuring your own. I am not a car salesman at all but have helped 20 or so get allocations in two years. I have found a buyer quickly for every allocation that dealers approached me with. Conversely, I have been contacted and even offered cash to find buyers for new and used "on the ground" Zs and haven't been able to sell those at all. Go figure...

Did you remove it - I don't see it? What was the price?

Hello vtknight,
Because a prospective buyer said he would take the car, I lapsed the ad. This buyer has not committed, so I suppose the car is again for sale. The price is Can$100,000, no GST. If you want it, I'll inform the prospect that he must either buy the car or forget it. I've been driving it in our dry Alberta weather, so it now has just under 9,000km.
It is white with red leather, coupe, M7, Z06/Z07 with carbon fiber ground effects package, video camera system and interior car cover. At 8600 km it had its second Mobil 1 15/50 oil change, fresh high temp brake fluid and the factory bulletin squeaky top fix done. No track time. Tires are still very good.
Cheers,
Jack
