I picked up a 2001 convertible last fall that is completly stock and am looking for a few quick add ons. Any suggestions on
exhaust and air intakes?
Also looking to upgrade the factory deck to a double din unit, any suggestions on a local shop would be greatly appreciated.
In looking at some previous posts E.C.P. seems to be the place to go, can you forward me your cambridge address Manny and I can drop in.

Thanks.

You've found our source of info on 'vettes : Manny at ECP who will have endless suggestions of mods and maintenance.

Look forward to meeting up this spring perhaps at one of the springtime events scheduled. You can see them here:

Congrats and welcome to the forum .

A cold air intake is for sure the best first mod for performance .
The Vararam will provide the best bang for the buck , and it is hands down the best CAI in the market .

The exhaust depends on alot of things:
Is your Vette an auto or stick ?
What future mods are you planning down the road ?

These are ver important questions , as I want you to spend your money once on the right system .

I carry all the top brand names :
Borla
Corsa
Bassani
Magnaflow
Pypes
B&B
Billyboat
SLP

The double din is not a huge issue either . I have a resource to that can provide a modded radio bezel that will accept a double din radio.

Audio is another area that ECP can help you with .

Please drop in for a visit and we can design the ultimate Corvette for you ,
Audio to performance to cosmetic .
Its all here at ECP :D

Welcome to the Forum.
Your about to find out that there is no cure for Mods Flu.
Once you start it's hard to stop.

As some of the other guys have mentioned, plan out what you want to do with your Vette. It's allot easier and cheaper to only do the Mods once.

Most of all. Make sure you drive and enjoy your Vette.
Don't make it a "Garage Queen." The only one that benefits from a Garage Queen is the next owner.:driving:

Congratulations on the car Northern.

Great advice from everyone, I'm in the same boat with a stock 2004 ragtop. OBSESHONs words really do ring true.

Although I have had nothing done I do know where I am going when it's time and that's ECP, perhaps we can get a 2 for 1 deal :coolgleam:

PHOTOS PLEASE.

Thanks for all of the replies and no worries, I will be driving it quite a bit. I will post some pics in the spring when I take it out of storage, had no chance when I brought her home. Fordperfect I love the sounds of the 2 for 1!
