Hi everyone,

I'm very glad to be joining the Corvette community! I have an order placed for a 2014 C7 and expect delivery in January (which means it won't be driven for a couple of months :D).

My father owned a 1978 Corvette but the C7 is my first. I'm very excited by the new car (I had a C63 coupe and a couple of E92 M3's before this) and can't wait to get it out next Spring!!!

Sounds like a really good collection of cars! Is your father happy that you finally came to your senses or does he appreciate your other cars as well? :D But seriously, those really do sound like a some nice cars.

Welcome to the forum!!!! I hope you find it as friendly as I do and you feel at home here!

Welcome to the forum. Look forward to seeing pics of the C7 when you get it and hearing about your impressions of if.

Welcome to the forum, can you give us details on the order? Colours etc.

Thanks for the welcome everyone! The specs for my car are as follows...

Z51 coupe
Torch red
Black interior
Black wheels
2LT
Carbon interior trim
Exposed carbon fibre roof
Red calipers
Performance exhaust
MRC
Nav

Basically this car (the red one, that is :D) ...

Hi everyone. New to the forum. And soon(not soon enough) to be part of the Corvette community. Have my red Z51 on order. I think pretty much the same as gthal. Good thing I live in Ontario. :-p
Currently have a 1993 Trans Am with the LT1 Corvette motor in it. Love the car. Still love driving it. So much fun. But I've had it since 1995 and I think it's time for an upgrade.
I'm "retired" from the Canadian Superbike series and looking to change things up a bit with old age so a new Corvette should be a good fit. :o)

i gotta say....that torch red with black wheels and vent accents looks pretty horny......the nicest c7 i've seen yet!

:D That's what the dealer said! The owner of the GM store in my city called me from the reveal in Detroit when he saw the red car. I think his exact words were something like "Hi Heath, I just saw the C7 and it is the horniest car I have ever seen!" He had me at "Hi" :coolgleam:

You, my friend, have impeccable taste in cars and colours! :D
