Car
2014 Stingray
Just joined the forum.

The closest I've come to Vettes, was having L78 heads on a 396 that me and my twin stuck in our '57 Chev in front of an M22 in the late '70s in my mom's garage. Whew, lots of numbers.

Haven't owned a "real" car since back in the day - but lots of road race bikes, sport bikes, dirt bikes, other bikes over the years. My older brother bought a new C3 in late 70s and I always said I'd have one, one day.

That day has arrived! Sort of. I ordered a 2014 Stingray Z51 1LT about six weeks ago and it's supposed to arrive earlyish in the new year. I can't wait :D

Congratulations and welcome to CCF! I know you'll like it here. Post some pics when you get it.

Thanks guys. I am super excited about this car on a whole bunch of levels. Cheers!

I'm new too but I'll say welcome anyway! :D

I'm very excited for the C7 and can't wait to see all of us Canadians start posting pictures!!!

Thanks! I'll be putting up some pictures when I get it - too bad snow tires aren't an option, because we'll be well into winter!

P.S. It will have red seats as I ordered the red interior but in LT1 I think that just means the seats and nothing else.

Yes the LT1 package is seats only :D Now just so ya know Michelin will be making an All Season tire for the C7's

Welcome

I am also a twin cowtowner......welcome to the Vette family. I took delivery of my 13' Z06 on December 30th, 2012.....and had to tuck it away for four and a half long months....had to start it up a few times and push the carbon out of the pots......

I don't know which will be worse, the waiting for at least 7 months before it is delivered or the tucking away. Winters last too long here!

Did you go through a dealership in Canada? May I ask which one?

I ordered it through one of the Calgary dealerships, but again it will be months before it is here.
