New from Edmonton

HI all, My name is Kevin and I live in Edmonton. Ordered a 2015 Torch Red Z51 2LT Coupe, Adrenaline Red, competition seats, CF Dash, M7, Mag ride, Exposed CF roof, PDR, and Black wheels! My first Corvette after wanting one for Quite a few years. I ordered it in last week of August for May delivery! It's already been a long wait with only 6 more months to go

Back in '66 I ordered a new Sport Deluxe Beaumont, my first car, for mid March delivery. I don't know about you but it was the longest winter of my life. I had the brochure memorized and dog eared by the time the car arrived. At least by getting the car in the spring, you don't have to sit and look at it in the garage all winter waiting for the salt and snow to go away.

....welcome myfirstvette, I just joined too and just bought my first corvette except it is 32 years old, wow the taxes on your car are more than what my car is worth !! congrats on the new machine.

Thanks to everyone for the welcome. I have been wearing myself out ever since I went for a test drive in a 2014 on which I based my order. It was an awesome experience. I have been reading this and the CorvetteForum ever since and yes this will be the longest winter ever I'm sure!
Glad to be a part of the forum, and I am already looking at some mods such as side rockers and a splitter to start with.
