I am not sure, if I read this right. When choosing a Mode on the C8 , is it only My Mode that will stay put? Every time I start the car it is back at Touring!!! Why and can it be done that it stays in the selected mode , for as long as we want?

If in MyMode when you shut it off it stays in MyMode. If you shut the car off in any other mode it will start in touring.
Just setup MyMode to the way you want it and if you must change to other for launch control etc. just remember to go to MyMode when you shut it off.

I actually dont mind the car starting up in tour mode

Love pushing that Z mode button and hearing the exhaust note change .

From what I can see there is not much difference between Z mode and My mode . And the little Z icon in the cluster and the red light on the wheel is kinda cool .

If you have Z51 then Z mode has more items to select/change than MyMode does.
