Trying to set memory seats.
I set for Key 1 then Wife sets up for key 2
We test everything works
If I am in car alone memory set works as driver 1
If both the wife and I are in the car sometimes the car will set the seat to her key instead of mine
We have followed the book to the T even followed some YouTube video's
Have reset maybe 5 times now we even try switching keys same result
Very frustrated
Hopefully somebody on here knows the trick to get these seats set
Thanks

Get your wife to keep her key in a faraday pouch in her purse.
My wife carries her key in her purse 24/7 so it's safer in the pouch

Yes but she says I have a problem listening to her
When the sensor detects two different receivers/transmitters , your fobs , it can get confused as Murray alluded to . Found this if it's any help......and welcome to the best Vette Forum on the Internut !

The 2019 Z51 Corvette memory seats may fail to keep programmed settings if the seat is set to go all the way back when exiting the car. This can cause a safety switch under the seat to lock in an open mode, preventing the seat memory from functioning properly. The solution is to adjust the memory seat and exit memory settings so the seat does not go fully back, avoiding triggering this switch .
Additional tips for programming memory seats correctly include:

  • Press and hold the "Set" button, then press and hold the memory button (1 or 2) until two beeps confirm the setting16.
  • Ensure the seat entry/exit feature is enabled in the vehicle settings5.
  • Do not press any other seat adjustment buttons during automatic memory recall4.
  • Each key fob is linked to a specific memory button, so have the correct fob with you when programming6.
  • If problems persist, a dealer software reflash may be necessary to improve memory seat function6.

If the seat only moves manually in small increments or does not move at all with memory recall, it may indicate the seat is stuck in a protective mode due to the seat position or a possible hardware/software issue56.

In summary, avoid setting the seat all the way back in memory or exit positions, follow the proper programming steps, and consider dealer assistance if the problem continues. This approach has resolved similar issues reported by other C7 Corvette owners.

I remember seen a video from Corvette Mike explaining the memory setting, he said never try to set in a complete backward position or completely lowered, go back to the end then comme back just a bit, go down completely then rise a bit, same thing for every positions. Work good for my GS 2019. Often, for memory seats, there are sensors on the tracks to see where the seats are, I gues they can get confuse if we go to far and a signal is sent to the memory module.

I have my seat all the way back anyway so don’t use the memory function. I wouldn’t mind if it went back another inch or two and I’m only about 6’1 . It’s probably fairly snug for someone 6’4 .

I did have it all the way back when exiting and probably all the down
I reset it haven't driven with wife after I reset the seat so will see what happens next time I drive with her
